Chaka is the swahili word which means "bush". Chaka Adventure Safaris is owned by two Tanzanians, Peter and Julius. Both Peter and Julius, are experienced guides, holding diplomas in 'Wildlife Management" and have been working in the tourism industry as professional guides for more than 16 years. CHAKA Safaris organize tailor made safaris to suit all tastes. Whether you are looking for a discreet safari for two or traveling as a larger group, Chaka will be able to accommodate your wishes.

They specialize in trips to the beautiful, unspoiled and unknown region of southern Tanzania, which includes exciting destinations like Selous, Ruaha National Park, The Udzungwas, Katavi National Park, Kitulo etc (known as the Southern Circuit). In addition to this they can take you to the better known Parks in the North of Tanzania like Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.

Peter and Julius have an excellent knowledge of wild-life and natural history in general but also, they have a unique flair for introducing visitors to the interesting and diverse cultural heritage of this beautiful country. Guided trips can include walking safaris, boat safaris, game drives, canoeing, mountain climbing, fishing, various cultural tours, plus diving and snorkeling along Tanzanias' wonderful reefs as well.
