Kilimanjaro National Park

Kibo is the highest peak reaching 5,895 meters above the sea level. At the top of Kibo peak is a 2.25 kilometers wide ice caped crater. The second summit is Mawenzi which rises to 5,149 meters above the sea level. Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain that does not need ropes or expertise to climb. It is regarded to be the most visited mountain in the world. At the slopes of the park their are considerable number bird, some are endemic species to attract bird lovers. It has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO
